ServerDoctor Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 11 September 2026 · Version: 2026-09-11

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of ServerDoctor, including the website, monitoring dashboard, server agent, alerts, AI-assisted diagnostics and paid subscription features. By creating an account and accepting these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Account eligibility and responsibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials, recovery codes and server agent credentials secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

2. Permission to monitor systems

You may connect only servers, systems and data that you own, administer, or are otherwise authorised to monitor. You are responsible for obtaining any permission required from your organisation, customers or other system owners.

3. Monitoring data

ServerDoctor may process technical information required to provide the service, including hostnames, IP addresses, operating-system information, resource metrics, package update information, service and process information, Docker data, listening ports, selected logs, alerts and related diagnostic information.

4. AI-assisted diagnostics

AI-generated diagnostics are informational and may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing recommendations before applying changes to production systems. Unless a separate feature explicitly states otherwise, ServerDoctor does not automatically execute AI-generated remediation commands.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the plan and billing period selected at checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. If payment fails, Stripe may retry payment according to the payment-recovery settings then in effect.

6. Paid plan changes

Changing from one paid tier to another may require a new Stripe Checkout payment. The existing subscription can remain active while the new payment is pending. After successful payment, ServerDoctor may cancel the previous subscription and activate the replacement tier. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, unused time from the previous subscription is not automatically refunded.

7. Cancellation and end of paid service

If a subscription is cancelled at the end of its billing period, paid access normally continues until the end of the already-paid period. When Stripe confirms that the paid subscription has ended, ServerDoctor may return the account to the Free tier and remove registered servers and associated monitoring data in accordance with the service's current cancellation policy.

8. Availability and monitoring limitations

ServerDoctor is provided on a commercially reasonable basis, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Alerts and monitoring can be delayed or missed because of network failures, agent failures, maintenance, third-party outages, software defects or infrastructure incidents.

9. Customer backups and operational responsibility

ServerDoctor is a monitoring service and must not be treated as the sole backup of your infrastructure, configuration or logs. You remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, access controls, change procedures and recovery plans for your own systems.

10. Prohibited use

You must not use ServerDoctor to access or monitor systems without authorisation, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, abuse rate limits, attempt unauthorised access to other accounts, distribute malicious content through the service, or use ServerDoctor for unlawful activity.

11. Suspension or termination

ServerDoctor may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, non-payment, legal compliance, protection of other customers, or material breach of these Terms.

12. Account and data deletion

Deleting an account, administrator deletion, or reaching a terminal subscription state may permanently remove registered servers and associated monitoring information. Deleted information may not be recoverable except where retained temporarily in operational backups or where retention is required by law.

13. Third-party services

ServerDoctor may rely on third-party providers such as Stripe for payment processing and AI providers for diagnostic features. Use of those functions may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and availability.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ServerDoctor is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from service interruption, monitoring errors, missed alerts, AI-generated recommendations, lost data, or changes you make to systems based on information provided by the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. If a material change requires renewed consent, ServerDoctor may require acceptance of a new Terms version before continued use of affected features.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be sent to the support contact published by ServerDoctor.
